Chantilly, VA – Delegate Jim LeMunyon today announced his endorsement of John Guevara for Fairfax County Board Supervisor for the Sully District in Western Fairfax County.
“John is a smart, energetic candidate who impresses me each day with the amount of hard work he is putting into this race,” said Delegate LeMunyon. “He will bring new ideas to the county Board, especially related to transportation, education excellence, and getting more value for our tax dollars. He and I agree that transportation dollars must be directed to projects that give us the biggest bang for the buck in reducing congestion, and not political pet projects.”
“Our campaign is thrilled to have the support of Delegate LeMunyon,” said John Guevara. “Delegate LeMunyon has been very generous to us, sharing resources and knowledge of Sully District with me and my team. Having a significant overlap with his Delegate District, Sully residents are very familiar with Delegate LeMunyon’s great representation. I hope to emulate his constituent services should our team be successful in November. My neighbors across Sully District are ready for someone who will hold the line on raising taxes and bring fiscally responsible policies to the Board so that businesses come and stay in our district.”
Delegate Jim LeMunyon represents the 67th District in the Virginia House of Delegates. He is a resident of Sully District, where he and his family have lived for more than 23 years.
John Guevara is running for Sully District Supervisor to the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. He and his wife, Marilyn, live by Navy Elementary with their two boys.
