Best Candidate for Business Community
CHANTILLY, VA – With just 48 days left before Election Day, momentum continues to build for the Guevara for Supervisor campaign. Today, the Guevara campaign announced the endorsement of NOVABizPac, the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce’s political action committee. Guevara is the only non-incumbent candidate for the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to receive the endorsement.
“The Northern Virginia Business Political Action Committee (NOVABIZPAC), the political action committee of the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce (Fairfax Chamber) is proud to endorse John Guevara for the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors,” said NOVABizPAC Chair Scott McGeary. “Our board believes he will be an outstanding leader on many issues critical to the Northern Virginia business community. We look forward to working with him to keep Fairfax County a top state for business.”
“It’s an honor to have the support of the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce’s NOVABizPAC,” said John Guevara. “As a businessman living and working in Fairfax County, I have seen firsthand the importance of creating jobs, fostering innovative industries, and growing new businesses relevant to our economy. I’m running to strengthen Fairfax County and enhance our quality of life by easing traffic congestion, providing our children with the best education, and ensuring the County provides quality services with maximum return on investment. I look forward to working with the Fairfax Chamber as a member of the Board of Supervisors to advance policies that allow all businesses and their employees to thrive in Fairfax County.”
NOVABIZPAC was founded in 2002 to support Virginia legislators and policymakers, inside and outside of Fairfax County, who promote a favorable business climate and a high quality of life in Virginia. NOVABIZPAC is administered by a Board of Trustees composed of top executives and government affairs professionals from Chamber member companies. The success of NOVABIZPAC is not possible without the effective participation of the Northern Virginia business community in the political process and the financial support of our members.
The decision to endorse Mr. Guevara was made following an extensive, in-person interview of both candidates seeking to represent Sully District on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors.
