Has the momentum leading into final stretch of campaign
CHANTILLY, VA – With only 19 days until Election Day, momentum continues to build for the Guevara for Supervisor campaign. Today, Republican John Guevara announced his campaign’s impressive fundraising haul of nearly $30,000. That is two times the sum Democrat Kathy Smith was able to raise ($15,000) during the same period. Guevara has raised $129,006 and also has 361 individual donors. Despite being a first-time candidate these totals are proof that Mr. Guevara has the message, drive, and the passion to represent his neighbors on the Fairfax Board of Supervisors.
This continues to show Guevara’s momentum is that he has garnered support at the grassroots level with volunteers knocking on over 30,000 doors. He has also won all of the major competitive endorsements for Sully District Supervisor including the Fairfax Chamber’s NOVABizPAC, the Virginia Police Benevolent Association and the League of Conservation Voters.
“Sully District and Fairfax County are looking for new ideas and practical solutions to the problems facing our county’s budget, infrastructure, and education system,” said John Guevara. “I’m a businessman who oversees budgets and solves problems to ensure that projects are completed on time and under budget. As I knock thousands of doors and engage fellow business and community leaders, it’s clear why they are investing in my campaign. They know that only I have the experience to ensure we are receiving quality services with a maximum return on investment.”
